Gentleman & A Van Property Services

Gentleman & A Van’s new suite of property services is the answer – for owners, estate agents, property developers, landlords, managing agents and anyone with an interest in running and maintaining a housing or business premises portfolio. It’s all under one convenient roof. Better yet, all the values of the Gentleman & A Van brand, from efficiency to exceptional quality control, have been carried over from our renowned removals and storage service and applied in full measure to our Property Services suite.

Cleaning

Our Deep Clean service includes full vacuuming of floors and upholstery, kitchen and bathroom descaling, oven cleaning and much more. You can also selected additional cleaning tasks when you make your booking. Your instant quotation is based on the size of your property and the services you select. For the most intensive clean, you can book an End-of-Tenancy Clean. This includes full cleaning beneath furniture and exterior cleaning. Optional add-ons include grouting cleaning, extractor fan cleaning and more. Both services are arranged by an easy online booking system. Payment can be made by Amex, Mastercard and Visa. By prior arrangement, you can leave keys in a local shop or in a lockbox, provided the keys are kept within a five-minute walk from the property. Our cleaners come with all the necessary products and equipment. 

    Painting & Decorating

    A Gentleman & A Van painter/decorator can be with you soon via our quick, easy online form. You tell us where you live, what you need and when you need it, and you’ll get a quotation. Our painter/decorators can either use the materials you supply or they can buy them and then charge you for them at the end of the job. We have plenty of experienced painter/decorators on our books and it only takes minutes to make a booking. Additional jobs include plastering and putting up/taking down wallpaper. Payment can be made by Visa and Mastercard. Our painter/decorators have a minimum one-hour charge. When the job takes longer, you’re charged at half-hour increments. 

    Handyman

    Gentleman & A Van’s portfolio of top handymen are great at: hanging pictures, photographs and mirrors; furniture assembly/disassembly; fitting cat flaps; mounting TVs to the wall; putting up shelves (or taking them down); fitting curtains and blinds; installing/repairing cabinets; draught-proofing; repairing/replacing damaged toilet seats; fitting locks; installing shower screens. And much more. Getting a quotation and making a booking is easy, whether you use our online system or the telephone. If your handyman needs to buy extra materials, this can be done with your agreement and added to your charge once the job is complete. Handymen come to you with a minimum one-hour charge and you then pay for additional time at half-hour increments. Payment is made by Amex, Visa or Mastercard.
