How We Started

Mark Godman set up Gentleman & A Van in 2004 following a bad experience moving flats within London. Despite using one of the market leading removals companies at the time, he was left feeling dissatisfied and it got him thinking that there must be a better way to help Londoners move home.

The Vision

The vision was to build a removal business that would treat your home and possessions as if they were their own, as a Gentleman would, hence ‘Gentleman & A Van’ was born.  The company has grown from strength to strength since 2004 and it has now established itself as one of London’s leading and most trusted removal and storage companies. Gentleman & A Van has established its excellent reputation through providing unrivalled levels of service, combined with a personal approach, to every customer.  From the simplest job involving just a couple of items to be moved , to a full house move, we believe we provide our customers with a first class and cost effective solution to their moving and storage needs.
