I would highly recommend Gentleman and a Van. The initial contact with the office and booking paperwork was straightforward and quick. My move involved combining things from a storage unit and a temporary home and then delivery to two locations. The cost was £600 for pick up at 9am (no packing required) and delivery to one address in London and one in Surrey (finish around 4pm). On the day the Gentlemen and their van turned up on time and were professional, friendly and efficient. They never lost their sense of humour despite a fifth floor walk-up and didn’t even need a coffee or tea break. They were even happy to provide some useful interior lighting advice I needed! As a single woman it was great to have people I felt I could totally trust.
Highly recommended and great value for money. These guys are slick and professional and handled all my furniture with great care. Immaculate vans, smartly dressed men, unfailingly polite. Gentlemen and a Van is exactly what they are… This company make moving a pleasant experience. I wouldn’t look anywhere else!
I recently used Gentleman and a Van for my move to Bristol. I cannot speak highly enough about this company. They were absolutely brilliant. I got 3 quotes and their quote came in the middle of the three. They were marginally more expensive than the cheapest but were worth every penny. All the movers were charming and friendy (real gentlemen) and the service was faultless. I will be moving back to Battersea in 6 months time and I will not look at anyone else. Fantastic company!
I cannot recommend this company more highly. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finnish. They are by far and away the best and most professional removal company I have ever dealt with and I have moved many times in London. I met with Mark, one of the companies Directors who was absolutely charming. He talked me through the moving process and got the quote out to me that same day. The quote was extremely competitive, had not hidden charges and so I made the booking. The men that turned up to do my move were indeed “gentlemen”. They couldn’t have been more careful and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I have several expensive antique pieces of furniture and valuable canvases, all of which were very carefully and professionally wrapped and nothing had so much as a scratch on it when I unpacked. Hats off to this company! Fantastic branding, a great company name and a wondeful concept. Very impressive from the top to the bottom. Quite brilliant!
